Edith Hoft – Retail Showroom, E-Commerce & Design Services
Last Updated: 05/02/2026 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases, services, and transactions made through the Edith Hoft retail showroom, website, online platforms, and design services (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms apply to all products and services including, but not limited to: In-home design consultations Wallcoverings and wallpaper Paint and finishes Window treatments and custom window coverings Fabrics and textiles Furniture Decorative accessories and home décor Custom or special-order items By engaging with Edith Hoft, whether in-store, online, or through design services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. In-Home Design Consultation

Edith Hoft offers in-home design consultation services as a personalized and professional experience tailored to each client. Consultation Fee
The in-home consultation fee is $250, which includes up to 90 minutes on-site. During the consultation, clients may receive guidance and recommendations related to: Custom window treatments Upholstery and fabric selections Wallcoverings and finishes Home staging and styling Paint color selections Coordination and ordering of design samples

Additional Time
Any time exceeding the initial consultation period will be billed at $125 per hour. Travel
Consultations include travel within our standard service area. Additional travel fees may apply outside this range.

Scope of Service
Consultation services are advisory in nature and do not include detailed design plans, drawings, specifications, or project management unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment Terms
Full payment is required prior to or at the time of booking. Consultation fees are non-refundable once the appointment is confirmed.

2. Order Accuracy

Customers are responsible for reviewing all order details prior to completing their purchase. PLEASE REVIEW ORDER FOR ACCURACY AS ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND NO RETURNS FOR OVERAGE WILL BE ACCEPTED. CLAIMS FOR LABOR WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. Once an order has been placed and confirmed, it cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded except where required by applicable law.

3. Inspection of Products Upon Delivery

Upon receipt of your order, all products must be inspected immediately. Customers must verify that the correct items, colors, materials, sizes, and quantities have been received. UPON RECEIPT OF MATERIAL, CAREFULLY INSPECT ALL BOLTS BEFORE CUTTING AND HANGING. CONFIRM THAT YOU’VE RECEIVED THE CORRECT COLOR, ITEM AND QUANTITY. Customers must report shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items within 48 hours of delivery. Failure to inspect materials before installation, cutting, fabrication, or use may void eligibility for claims.

4. Installation Inspection Procedure (Wallcoverings)

For wallcoverings and similar materials: IF NO DEFECT IS EVIDENT BEFORE INSTALLATION, THE MATERIAL SHOULD BE INSPECTED AFTER THREE (3) STRIPS ARE INSTALLED. IF ANY DEFECT IS EVIDENT, NO ADDITIONAL MATERIAL SHOULD BE HUNG UNTIL THE MANUFACTURER IS NOTIFIED. NO CLAIMS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR MORE THAN THREE (3) STRIPS ON THE WALL. Failure to follow this procedure may result in denial of claims.

5. Claims Policy

All claims must meet the following conditions: Claims must be submitted within 30 days of the invoice date Proof of purchase is required Photos or documentation must be provided when requested ALL CLAIMS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE INVOICE DATE. Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted.

6. Labor and Installation Liability

Edith Hoft is not responsible for labor, installation, fabrication, or contractor expenses. CLAIMS FOR LABOR WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. This includes: Installation labor Removal costs Fabrication or sewing costs Contractor or installer expenses Project delays Customers are responsible for hiring qualified professionals.

7. Refunds, Returns, and Restocking

Due to the nature of our products:

All Sales Final

Returns are not accepted for: Overage material Custom or special orders Fabric cut yardage Custom window treatments Installed materials Opened paint containers Used or damaged items Clearance or final sale items

Authorized Returns

If approved: Return authorization is required Items must be unused and in original packaging Must be returned within 10 days

Restocking Fees

Up to 25% restocking fee may apply.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

8. Product Variations

Many products are natural or handmade. Variations may include: Dye lot differences Color variation Texture differences Pattern variations These are not considered defects.

9. Custom and Special Orders

Custom and made-to-order items are: Non-cancelable Non-refundable once in production

10. Pricing and Payment

Prices are in USD We reserve the right to correct pricing errors Prices may change without notice Full or partial payment may be required before processing orders.

11. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery dates are estimates only. We are not responsible for delays caused by: Carriers Weather Supply chain disruptions External factors

12. Limitation of Liability

Edith Hoft is not liable for: Indirect or consequential damages Project delays Loss of profits Maximum liability is limited to the purchase price.

13. Warranty Disclaimer

All products are sold “as is” unless otherwise required by law. Manufacturer warranties are handled directly with the manufacturer.

14. Website Use

All website content is protected and may not be reproduced without permission.

15. Privacy

Customer data is used only for business operations and handled per our Privacy Policy.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

17. Modifications

Edith Hoft reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
